Camarillo Old Town Association’s 4th Annual Beer March Pairs Over 20 Craft Breweries with Downtown Businesses on March 10th for a Fun Community Day

WHAT:  The Camarillo Old Town Association’s (COTA) 4th Annual Beer March will feature over 20 craft breweries that will partner with local downtown businesses and also offer a fun community day of live entertainment for family and friends who will get their ‘Irish on’. Beer drinkers, 21 years of age and over, will receive a beer glass as a keepsake. Tickets are $35 each, in advance, and $45 each, the day of the event. WHO:  Camarillo Old Town Association (COTA) is a volunteer and non-profit organization of member businesses and property owners in the Camarillo Old Town District that also include area residents and stakeholders.

 

WHY:  COTA’s mission is to improve economic vitality and continually enhance its vibrant, friendly, fun, cultural, and clean neighborhood by holding community and business events. It also preserves the heart and soul of downtown while promoting local businesses, tourism, education, community involvement, and investment opportunities.

WHERE:   Check-in will be held at 12:00 PM at Studio Channel Islands Art Center, 2222 Ventura Boulevard, Camarillo, CA. Beer March will be from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. There is free public parking.

On the Saturday before Halloween, October 27, 2018, from 1:00 – 4:00 PM, BOO FEST will bring howling fun, tricks, and treats to all ages in downtown Camarillo, CA. Camarillo Old Town Association (COTA) will provide free admission to all mortal beings. The Old Town Camarillo businesses are ready to greet diverse characters in costume, up and down Ventura Boulevard, so they may feast, express themselves, be entertained, and shop into the night. Kids and parents will also be running to Chapel City Church’s carnival where they will play a lot of exciting games and get candy, prizes, and more.

There will be more than 25 local businesses, up and down Ventura Boulevard, providing dining, entertainment and shopping with live music, art, food, beer, craft beers and wine. Enjoy local shops and eateries while finding out more about updates on historic Camarillo Old Town's developments. Early bird tickets are $40; tickets will be $45 the day of the event. General admission includes a wine glass, wine, beer and entertainment. Attendees must be 21 years or older. Event check-in starts at noon at Studio Channel Islands Art Center, 2222 Ventura Blvd. Street parking is available.

On Sunday, September 30, 2018, from 1:00 – 4:00 PM, Camarillo Old Town Association (COTA) is having its 5th Annual Wine Walk in historic downtown Camarillo, California. More than 25 local business stops, up and down Ventura Boulevard, will provide dining, entertainment, and shopping with live music, art, food, beer, craft beers, and wine. This tasting celebration allows the community and businesses to come together to enjoy local shops and eateries while learning updates of historic Camarillo Old Town’s developments.

COTA’s mission is to improve economic vitality and continually enhance its cultural, vibrant, friendly, fun, and clean neighborhood. Linda Hunter, owner of The Wine Closet in downtown and also COTA’s Treasurer says, “Our goal is always to have community events and bring people to Camarillo Old Town.”
