BEER MARCH 2024

Join in on the FUN! Come on down to Old Town and join us for a Beer Marching time!!!

Come and show your support for the Camarillo Old Town Association as you stretch your legs while dropping into our participating Restaurants and Retail locations for a taste of Local Craft Brew and specialty cocktails! Live Music will grace our Blvd from many local bands! Our merchants love to host and they are sure to have some yummy treats, photo opportunities, and FUN, FUN, FUN times here in our Beloved Old Town.

 

EVENT DETAILS:

Our event will take place inside of each business on March 17th, 2024 from 1pm to 4pm. Show up at 1 of our 2 Check-In Locations and pick up your party pack! Please be sure to have your ticket available (digitally or printed) along with your Photo ID. (Remember you must be 21 or over to attend). Included in your party pack will be some items to bring some Fun to your day along with your commemorative glass (while supplies last) and a map to help you along the way!

 

CHECK-IN LOCATIONS:

Location 1- Starts at 1pm concludes at 2:30pm, American Legion, 7 Veterans Way, Camarillo, CA, 93010.

Location 2- Starts at 1pm concludes at 2:30pm, Café Ficelle, 2024 Ventura Blvd #110, Camarillo, CA, 93010.

COSTUME CONTEST:

How to Enter: Participants have two options for entering the costume contest:

a. Visit the designated selfie booths located at American Pie Records and Malone's Metaphysical during the event. At the booths, participants should take a picture of themselves in their costume.

b. Take a picture at the event and post it on their own social media accounts, tagging the event's official social media handles

(Instagram: @oldtowncamarillo Facebook: Camarillo Old Town).

Eligibility: The costume contest is open to all participants attending the Beer March event on St. Patrick's Day.

Costume Theme: Participants are encouraged to dress in green, leprechaun-themed attire, or any other funny and original costumes related to St. Patrick's Day.

Submission Deadline: All entries must be submitted during the Beer March event on St. Patrick's Day.

Judging Criteria: Costumes will be judged based on creativity, originality, adherence to the St. Patrick's Day theme, and overall visual impact.

Winner Selection: After the event, the organizers will review all submitted entries on social media and select the winners. Winners will be announced within the week following the event.

Prize: Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Winners will receive a trophy in recognition of their outstanding costumes.

Public Voting: In addition to the judges' selection, there may be an opportunity for public voting on social media platforms to determine a "Fan Favorite" winner.

Winners Announcement: The winners will be announced on the event's social media, and they will be contacted directly to arrange trophy collection.

Disqualification: Any entry deemed inappropriate, or offensive will be disqualified from the contest at the discretion of the organizers.

Consent: By participating in the costume contest and submitting their photos, participants consent to the use of their images for promotional purposes related to the event.

Organizers' Decision: The organizers reserve the right to amend these rules, make decisions on any matters not specified herein, and resolve any disputes related to the contest at their discretion.

 

All proceeds benefit the Camarillo Old Town Association. This event along with the Wine Walk, Camarillo Old Town Glow and Heritage Days proceeds go to fund family friendly events held in the Camarillo Old Town area to benefit our community and support the small local retailers. Camarillo Old Town Association also votes and donates to our local nonprofits that support education. Thank you for your support!
